Senecio crassissimus is a succulent species which grows vertically and has fleshy greyish-green leaves with a lavender trim around each leaf. It is widely used in low-maintenance landscaping and container gardening, reaching up to 60cm in height, gradually developing into a large and dense shrub over time. It has fine, yellow flowers that grow in a cluster on a tall stalk that grows from the stem tips from Summer- Autumn.
While Senecio crassissimus is well-suited for waterwise gardens due to its low water requirements, it thrives with at least four hours of direct sunlight daily. It is not recommended indoors but works exceptionally well as a balcony or patio plant. This succulent is remarkably easy to grow.
