Kalanchoe orgyalis, commonly known as Copper Spoons, is a stunning and low-maintenance succulent. Its distinctive colour and velvety texture make it a captivating addition to any space.
This slow-growing succulent features oval-shaped leaves with a striking copper hue on the upper side and a silvery-grey tone on the underside. The leaves are covered in small hairs, giving the plant its velvety appearance. While Copper Spoons can reach up to 1m in height in their native habitat of Southwestern Madagascar, it generally remains much smaller when grown as a houseplant.

Kalanchoe Copper Spoons will thrive in full to partial sun. The more sunlight it receives, the more vibrant its copper colour will appear.
As a succulent, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings entirely is crucial. Water the plant more frequently during the active growth period in Spring and Summer. In contrast, reduce watering during the cooler months.
