Plant Description

Dasylirion wheeleri is commonly known as the Mexican Grass Tree or Desert Spoons and is a succulent native to Northern Mexico, along with Arizona and Texas in USA.   It is an evergreen shrub with blue-toned, slender leaf blades which have toothed margins.   The leaves radiate from the centre of the plants apex in all directions becoming spherical as the plant matures and they are tipped with white fibres.
