Plant Description

Nolina nelsonii, also known as the Blue Nolina, is a tree-like succulent with a thick, straight trunk that can grow up to two meters tall. It showcases an architectural shape with green to blue-grey foliage, forming a stunning symmetrical crown without spikiness. This evergreen succulent is highly sought after for its unique appearance and ability to thrive in drought conditions and frost.

Watering:

Blue Nolina is drought-tolerant once established, so water deeply but infrequently. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings.

Fertilising:

Blue Nolina will benefit from an application of an All Purpose, Slow-Release fertiliser every 9-12 months.

Pruning:

To prune a Blue Nolina, remove the lower leaves close to the trunk for a neat appearance.
